Laurel Haven Farm

Laurel Haven is located in the beautiful woodlands of South Carolina. We raise quality Nigerian Dwarf goats as our family hobby and for milking. We do have lots of other animals too, and most importantly our three beautiful children. All of which are happy, healthy and given lots of TLC.

Our interest in Nigerian Dwarf goats all began back in 2002 when my daughter received her first two miniature goats for her birthday. We quickly fell in love with these unique little dairy goats and now we are hooked. As our love and devotion for this unique dairy breed grew, we became a member of the American Goat Society (AGS) & American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). Our primary goal is to raise & develop healthy dairy goats that inspire a sweet disposition, correct conformation, and improved mammary system. We do milk our dairy goats, and have established a herd full of excellent dairy animals with outstanding mammary genetics. We strive to produce animals with the best possible dairy characteristics for both the milk room & the show ring. So therefore, we are always trying to breed for improvement in our future Laurel Haven offspring to develop "correct" conformation & mammary systems, and keeping that gentle natured personality we so much love about them...

Our goats health is very important to us. Our herd is tested annually for diseases. We have never had CAE, CL, TB, Brucellosis or Johne's Disease and we hope to stay that way due to our strict health policy. Our goats are fed the best of hay & grains and all of our animals are on a regular immunization program. For more about our goat management please read Our Policies and our Goat Care information.

Every animal we raise is very special to us and part of our family here at Laurel Haven. They are first & foremost our pets & companions.
