She is long and level with lots of dairy character. We got our first hands on experience with the Caeser's Villa line through our buck Sharpie, and since then have much admired what the Caesar's Villa bloodline has to offer. So bringing in Strawberry was not a hard decision at all. This line can improve mammary systems in most any herds. This will be her first freshening with us so an update on her udder will follow once we have that chance to inspect it. But we have seen pictures of past udder shots of Strawberry and are happy with what we are seeing. When Strawberry first came to us she was very reserved. And we were told by her previous owner that was the reason he was letting Strawberry go, as it was too hard to catch her to do any maintenance on her... well she is finally coming around and we can now get her to walk up to us on her own. She enjoys the occasional back scratching, and even comes up and pushes on us to let us know it is her turn for attention. So I do believe our patients has won her over. She is not the same doe she was when she first arrived at Laurel Haven. And we are so thankful she has come around as it makes our lives that much easier to work with her.
