Gypsy's Dream Twilight

We are proud to introduce our very first Nubian "Twilight". This beautiful doeling is our very first standard dairy goat to join our Laurel Haven herd. She comes to us from our goat friend Kayte of Gypsy's Dream Farm. But the reason she now belongs to us is not a pretty tale. Kayte's farm suffered from a severe dog attack that killed at least half her herd of goats along with several other animals she owned and loved. This includes 3 Laurel Haven Nigerians. This attack was so horrific it has caused Kayte to give up her new founded goat venture and find homes for the few surviving animals that were lucky enough to escape death as she fears it happening again as these dogs are still out there waiting for another opportunity to finish the job. The story behind Twilight still hurts me deeply as 3 of the goats killed were my own Laurel Haven goats. But I am sure it is nothing like what Kayte has gone through these past weeks, and we feel for your loss Kayte, and are honored to continue on your herd name by giving Twilight a home here with us. Since the day Twilight was born, I have admired this doeling enough to make me want to get into Nubians possibly someday down the road... and then when I received an email from Kayte, her exact words were "we would love for her to go to your farm. :) she'd make some beautiful babies with a nigerian buck." I knew right then she was our founding Nubian for future Laurel Haven Mini-Nubians... So this is just the beginning and it starts right here with this beautiful doeling "Twilight"! Watch for more Nubians to be joining us in the near future...

Kayte had this to say about Twilight... her father is a grand champion who throws award winning udders, so she is from really great stock. Tierra, her mom, has a beautiful udder so Twilight would make a beautiful mini-nubian breeder for you.
